Week 34

Week 34 has been packed with a WHOLE lot of stuff. Jeff has been wonderful getting stuff ready for this baby!! I think he has been a little motivated by this fishing trip that he has coming up on Thursday. I told him that he had to have everything done before his trip/October. So below is what I got!!! Friday night we were able to get the crib together.

On Saturday Jeff worked on finishing our new fence. Yes, he is working in the rain!! Aren't we determined this week. :)

Still Week 34

Our wonderful friends gave us a baby shower Sunday night. We had a great time and received some great things for baby Whitworth.

At the shower we played a game where each team had ten minutes to come up with a song including these words: Jeff, Becca, baby, burp, doctor, labor, boy, belly. They then had to perform their song and we judged which one we liked the best. Here are the teams working hard at the task.

Cubbies

Ever since we finished our laundry room I have been eyeing these cubbies in the Pottery Barn magazine. I always love to get ideas from there and try to figure out how I can do that for a lot cheaper. So, my wonderful father-in-law graciously made some for me for my birthday!! I absolutely LOVE them. They have already become very useful and full of stuff. Thanks Wayne!!!

Whitworth Shower

This past weekend we had our first baby shower. It was so fun and yummy. We got some great things that we can't wait to use with baby Whitworth...only 7 more weeks!

At the end it was time for everyone to guess how big my belly was...

When we got home we laid everything out on the table so that Jeff could see what we got. Wow!! It is actually still sitting on the kitchen table until the baby room is finished. Hopefully by this weekend!

Pregnant with a Gun

Last week was the annualy YL Sporting Clay shoot. It was the first year that I was able to venture out there because I have always had to work. I was always told that Jeff was actually really good at shooting despite the lack of times he actually shoots. So I was excited to finally see for myself. We get there and Jeff insists that I shoot this gun too. What a sight!

Argh!!! Doesn't the big belly go well with a gun!?!

New Office

We have slowly been turning the old dining room into the new office. The old office is going to be the guest bedroom but it is not quite there yet. Hopefully soon we will be able to have guest come stay with us!!! We have been spending a lot of time in this room now. It is quite cozy, especially for Jeff to do all grad homework!

Labor Day Fun at the pool!

While Jeff worked on homework for over 8 hours on Sunday, I decided to go hang out with the kids are the pool. I am sure glad I went because I would have bugged Jeff like crazy wanting to hang out!!
