New Tent

The teacher in me can not wait to turn Eli's room into a mini classroom. I am blessed to be able to stay home with Eli but there is a tiny (very tiny) part of me that does miss the classroom. So instead of going back to classroom teaching I will do it with my son. :)
We already have the bookshelf that I have always wanted and now I have the tent/cozy corner/quiet area to go along with it. We spent some time in the tent today and he seems to like it. Fortunately it is big enough for Jeff and I to get in it too. Now all I need are some big cozy pillows to lay on. My expensive taste wants this pillow from Lollipop shop but it's $95. Woah. A dog bed might work.

BTW, the tent has three more sections that go along with it. Two tunnels and a Teepee tent. We are not using those sections in his room. The tent came from Costco. It was a great deal. :)

3 Months Old

Eli's buddy Holt came to visit us today. They laughed at each other and Holt wanted to give Eli hugs. It was so fun to see them interact as much as babies interact. :)

We are all ready to go to lunch together in our matching car seats!

Oakley has done great since Eli has come home. For the most part she does her own thing and ignores Eli. Once in a while she goes over to him and kisses him. One morning I found her under the playgym baking in the sun just like Eli likes to do. I think she is trying to tell us to give her some more attention. It was definately a sweet sight to see.

Play Time

Eli has become so interactive lately. He loves to smile and attempt to "talk" to you.
He is growing up way to fast... 12 Weeks old!

New Favorite Thing

We borrowed this playgym recently (thanks Whitney) and Eli loves it. He especially likes the red bird. He smiles from ear to ear and kicks his feet. He is growing up so fast. It has been so fun to watch him learn and do new things.
He has become a pretty good sleeper at night, only getting up once to eat and then right back down he goes!!
We are still not exactly sure who he looks like. Thoughts?
