Eli turned 5 months old last Tuesday.(yes i am a little late posting) We can't believe that he has been with us for almost a half a year. Time continues to fly as he grows older right before our eyes. He is such an awesome kid. He loves to smile and laugh, especially if you tickle under the arms. He has rolled over from his stomach to back a couple of times. (He is still not too interested in the rolling over thing) He loves to hold his toys and put them in his mouth. He tries really hard to sit up when he is laying on his back. His head comes off the floor and his feet come up with it. He has started enjoying some rice cereal and actually opens his mouth for it. And yes, he still LOVES the TV. There has been a lot of basketball on lately and Eli is glued. Love you, Dude.

The new wall
Last weekend Jeff and I decided to spruce up our front yard and build a retaining wall. It took us the whole weekend digging through the roots of the maple tree and precisely laying the bricks. We planted some azaleas already but are not sure what else to put in the natural area. Right now it is pineneedle overload.

Snow Day!
Cereal
Eli had his first taste of rice cereal the other day. He's not sure what to think about it. He takes it great but he is not extremely excited about it. We have only tried it a couple times. It preparation for Eli eating more solid foods in a couple months I spent a naptime making carrots and freezing them in ice trays. Hopefully the boy will like carrots!!
