Baby room

We are only 5 weeks out(hopefully earlier :) ) until the arrival of baby boy #2. The room is complete and we are ready for him. There are a couple of options for a name which is great progress. It has been so fun to see Eli more and more interested in what is going on. He will talk to my belly and give it kisses. I can not wait until these two can meet and play together.

Christmas Vacation

We have enjoyed having Jeff home for a long period of time during Christmas. Tomorrow he has to go back to work but we enjoyed our last day with him. Check out www.whitwo.com for more details. :)

Day 25: The birth of Jesus

" For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16


Better late than never but Merry Christmas. We had a great morning celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus. Eli was super excited about opening some presents that morning. The first gift that he opened was of baby Jesus, our greatest gift of all. It was great to start the day off remember the reason we celebrate Christmas. It is so easy to get distracted during the day as we spend time with family and open presents.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Might God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6

Day 24: Angels Proclaiming the Coming of Christ

"Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests." Luke 2:14

God's angels are sent by the Lord to bring messages to people. The angels brought the greatest message to the shephards that Jesus had been born.

Day 23: Light of the World

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of the life" John 8:12

Jesus is the light of the world. He wants us to be a light to others so that they may know Him.
