Christmas morning we rolled out of bed around 8:15am (Thank you Eli for being an awesome sleeper). Enjoyed some milk and then headed to the den to open some presents. We thought Eli would be interested in ripping open some paper but nope, he wanted to walk around with the drum stick and play with the toys he already had. We were truly blessed with some great gifts but the greatest gift of all was the birth of Jesus.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

that's how ash was about his presents a couple years ago, and i remember thinking, "this will be changing soon!" sure enough. now it's all about the ripping and clawing every inch of the paper off the present as quickly as possible!!! such fun!
